In the first session of the Clergy Consultation on the Confession of Faith in a Mennonite Perspective, Eastern Mennonite Seminary professor and scholar George R. Brunk III examines the history of faith statements and their importance to the decision-making and coherence of Anabaptist groups since the Reformation (1525). George R. In the second session of the Clergy Consultation on the Confession of Faith in a Mennonite Perspective, Owen Burkholder, long-time Virginia Mennonite Conference Minister, focuses on the changes after the 1963 statement of faith that led to the (current) 1995 Confession, which he was involved in creating.
