Daniels Run Peace Church, a family-friendly diverse community of 40 members in the DC suburb of Fairfax, VA, is looking for a new pastor to start in September 2023. Our mission is to be an urban people trying to be as much like Jesus as we can, accepting, loving, oriented toward nature, peace, and social justice in a multi-cultural, inclusive and Anabaptist way.  We are looking for a servant leader who connects the call of Jesus and our Mennonite history to contemporary issues through preaching, nurturing friendships, and planning worship services. The position could be half-time to full time depending on availability, interest, and willingness to help with managing our unique eco-friendly property and/or growing our congregation.  Our current pastor is hoping to stay involved with our community after retiring in 2023, and has offered to be available as a mentor or elder.
