Book Study: A Just Mission

The Racial Justice Taskforce of Virginia Mennonite Conference is offering a 7-week Summer Book Study via zoom using the book A Just Mission by Mekdes Haddis. Weaving together theology and scripture with stories from people of color and diaspora groups, A Just Mission offers hope that the mission and message of Jesus can indeed become good news for all. Why do American Christians travel overseas to reach people in distant lands but neglect immigrants in their home communities? How can the church be collaborative, vibrant and missional at home without falling into the trap of white supremacy?
