Fort Monroe Learning Trip
October 11 - October 13, 2024
The VMC Racial Justice Task Force (RJTF) is sponsoring a learning trip to Hampton, Virginia from October 11-13th. The group will visit Fort Monroe, the site of the arrival of the first enslaved Africans on American soil in 1619, and connect with brothers and sisters from VMC at C3 Hampton, over a meal and in Sunday worship. (Pending interest, one car may return to the Harrisonburg area Saturday for pastors who need to be at church Sunday morning.)
