Dawn Mast – Presenter
Dawn Mast was born and raised in Alabama until her parents moved to Virginia when she was 11. She graduated from Eastern Mennonite College in 1990 where she met her husband, Mark. Mark and Dawn have 4 children (3 boys and a girl, ages 14-23) and Dawn recently gained the wonderful title of mother-in-law! Dawn delights in spending time with her family, writing, reading, speaking to women’s groups, cooking, anything having to do with water and shopping at Costco. She is a writer and speaker for Encouragement Café Ministries and has had manuscripts published by Focus on the Family and Rejoice! magazines. Dawn attends Grace Mennonite Fellowship in Lacy Springs where she sometimes leads worship. The most important focus in Dawn’s life is her relationship with Jesus and she strives to live according to the Truth of God’s Word presented in the Gospel knowing the world is watching.
“I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.” – Philippians 4:13
Rachel Stutzman – Music Leader
Rachel Stutzman looks forward to worshiping together at this year’s womens’ retreat! After a year of separation and division, we long for a chance to praise God together as a community. Rachel and the entire music team pray that our worship will draw our attention from the worries of our own lives towards the love of our awesome God! Rachel currently teaches 4th grade at Waterman Elementary School in Harrisonburg, VA. Outside of school, she enjoys playing games, reading, trying new foods, and exploring local hikes. Rachel and her husband Andry also enjoy leading music at Weavers Mennonite Church, or just playing for fun with their friends and family.
