Northern District Renewal Event

The “Year of Worship, Healing, Reflection and Renewal” resolution was passed by the delegates during the recent summer assembly of VMC. The resolution called for a year of renewal and discernment with prayer, fasting and worship in search of a renewal of relationship with God and each other.  Each district was asked to plan a special event for their district with an invitation for the entire conference to attend.

Northern District will be holding a renewal event on Sunday, November 5 at Lindale Mennonite Church.

3:00pm there will be indoor/outdoor activities for children and families

4:00pm we will join together for a bilingual worship service with singing and stories of renewal

5:00pm we will share a meal together (provided by the district).

The event will make use of Lindale’s newly renovated fellowship hall and outdoor amphitheater. Weather will determine where events are held. There will be more details to follow, but please get this on your calendar.  We are anticipating and planning for a large turnout to celebrate the many good things that are happening in our congregations in Northern District.
